Saperi&co is a research and services infrastructure of Sapienza University of Rome born in 2019 to promote excellence in applied research and is conceived as a place where different knowledge fields can meet and stimulate and develop research, thanks to the various facilities available and the collaboration among 18 departments.
Founded in 1303, Sapienza is the oldest university in Rome and the largest in Europe. Its mission is to contribute to the development of a knowledge society through research, excellence, quality education and international cooperation.

Sapienza can be described through its impressive numbers: 700 years of history,18000 students, 3300 professors, 3600 employees, technicians and librarians and administrative staff, 11 faculties, 58 departments, 48 libraries and 18 museums.

Melting Pro (MeP) is an organisation founded in 2011 by seven women to combine their vast experience in the field of cultural management and with a shared vision: a more cohesive society and increased wellbeing for people through participation in culture and the arts. What defines us is our collaborative approach: the value of exchanging ideas and experiences is at the core of all our interventions. We support organisations and individuals working in the cultural and creative sector, empowering them to gain more social relevance and to up-skill their professional profiles. We operate at local, national and European level to promote projects and partnerships in the fields of: audience development, organizational growth, new forms of engagement in the arts, creative development of communities and territories, formal and non-formal learning to acquire leadership, strategic, networking skills.

We carry out research and initiatives in collaboration with national and international organizations and partners in the following areas:
– audience development and engagement
– creative urban regeneration
– empowerment and training
We facilitate alliances, building networks and collaborations among organizations that operate in different scientific-disciplinary sectors, in the belief that the best ideas are the result of cooperation and contamination.

The Storytelling Academy at Loughborough University is an interdisciplinary research team based at the School of Design and Creative Arts.

DigiTales was established in 2008 as a not for profit company, hosted by Goldsmiths, University of London. The DigiTales legacy reached far and wide since its humble beginnings in a workshop at the BBC in Cardiff in January 2006. The early workshops produced over eighty films, hosted countless screenings in communities and provided material for mainstream television channels from BBC to YLE, the Finnish national public broadcaster. DigiTales stories have also been exhibited in a variety of public spaces from the major international policy conference Creative Clusters in Newcastle to DigiTales at de Balie, a major cultural institution in Amsterdam.

A series of films were also screened on the Berlin underground trains in June 2006 during the football World Cup, as part of a scriptwriting competition based around the theme of Integration, organised by BGZ (Berlin International Cooperation Agency). In June 2007, some 150 people from across Europe gathered at FACT in Liverpool for a conference and exhibition to mark the success of the pilot project and lay the roots for the DigiTales company.

ReadLab is a Greece-based research institution that aims to generate positive social and sustainable impact through innovation Since 2017, ReadLab delivers high-quality research, training, educational, consulting and ICT services to local, national, European and international levels, adopting a human-centered approach and aiming at the promotion of sustainable development and growth. ReadLab brings together a multidisciplinary team of highly specialized researchers from the fields of engineering, communication technologies, education and social and political sciences with a long experience in project management and implementation of national, EU-funded and international projects.

They have cooperated with a wide range of private, public and non-profit organizations in Europe, Middle East and Latin America and the Western Balkans, transferring technical knowledge and designing novel products.

Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) is the largest institution of higher learning in the Western Cape. We have six faculties that serve more than 35.000 students.
